At least, 82 street vendors (PKL) around Pluit Reservoir had been relocated to vacant land on Jalan Ali Sadikin, Penjaringan, North Jakarta since March.

However, the vendors must complete several requirements to occupy the land, such as give attention to the goods quality, maintain cleanliness, and they must use Bank DKI auto-debit card to pay retribution.

"We will give them Bank DKI auto-debit card because they will use government land," told Penjaringan Sub-District Head, Yani Wahyu Purwoko to beritajakarta.com, Thursday (4/23).

Purwoko explained, the auto-debit system is aimed to prevent the vendors from illegal charges. "We create the auto-debit system prevent harming vendors, prevent the unscrupulous, and let the vendors to pay retribution to government directly," Purwoko explained.

Purwoko continued, his side urged the vendors to only pay the retribution through the auto-debit system.

"We have told them to not pay the retribution besides through auto-debit Bank DKI," he uttered.
